The best place to start is by going to www.NSLDS.ed.gov. This is the federal government’s website that will list all the federal loans that you have ever had. This website will give you details about your Student Loans such as the date of origination and the amount, the current principal balance and interest, the interest rate, the current lender, servicer and guarantee agency as well as historical data on your federal student loans.
